Photobidden

This Friday I was on a concert, or more correctly it was three concerts. Anyhow, at the entrance there was a sign that photographing was forbidden, even with mobile phones. If they caught you they would erase your camera and retain it until the end of the concert, yes they would. I found that very strange. The event was hold in a park, which to me is a public space. I wonder if it’s legal to make such restrictions. In any case, people wanted to be able to take some photos and they did but not to a large extent.

Last Sunday I was out cycling past the local airport. On the fence they had photographing forbidden signs every few meters. I can understand that somewhat more since it’s a military airport as well as civilian. But I wonder if spies would respect the signs. Oh well, it’s just a pity since it was really beautiful out there.
