    <content type="html">Thats right.. im having the same trouble.. and now i've tried uninstalling the notifier and reinstalling after setting ie as the default browser, but that doesnt work either. :( tell me if u find a solution.</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Finally there is an &lt;a href="http://toolbar.google.com/gmail-helper/"&gt;official Gmail Notifier&lt;/a&gt; [via &lt;a href="http://slashdot.org/articles/04/08/20/1251258.shtml"&gt;/.&lt;/a&gt;] (albeit beta).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Finally you can check you &lt;a href="https://gmail.google.com/"&gt;Gmail&lt;/a&gt; account without breaking the Gmail user agreement (using any of the &lt;a href="http://www.aimlesswords.com/archives/gmail/"&gt;unofficial Gmail apps&lt;/a&gt; [via &lt;a href="http://www.diveintomark.org/archives/blinks/2004/08/#b20040817032752"&gt;dive into mark&amp;#8217;s b-links&lt;/a&gt;], since scraping is not allowed). However, Gmail Notifier opens the default browser (which normally is a-ok) when you choose to open the Gmail inbox, but since Gmail doesn&amp;#8217;t support &lt;a href="http://www.opera.com/"&gt;Opera&lt;/a&gt; (as &lt;a href="http://hem.passagen.se/zanoi/blog/2004/06/gmail.html"&gt;I&amp;#8217;ve mentioned before&lt;/a&gt;) I&amp;#8217;d like to be able to change it (of course, I&amp;#8217;d rather like Gmail to support Opera).&lt;/p&gt;</content>
